2023 Summer Schedule

Registration has closed for our 2023 season. Thank you to everyone who participated and came out to enjoy our programs! We look forward to seeing you again next summer here at Rough Acres.

About our Programs

All RABC kids camps are 5 nights unless otherwise indicated. Our camps are made up of high-energy games and activities (swimming and watercrafts, field games, archery, etc.) as well as low-energy activities (crafts, cabin time) sure to engage and entertain your child. Each camp has a chapel speaker and a custom program to suit their age group.

Mini Rough (ages 6-8) - a special two-night camp meant to introduce our youngest campers to the world of summer camp.

Junior Camps (ages 9-11) - These camps are frequently offered as either coed or separated girls/boys weeks. Stay tuned to learn about what the 2024 season will offer.

Intermediate (11-13) - This preteen program is offered as a coed camp twice a summer. Campers enjoy many challenges, games, and races during their week.

Teen Camp (13-17) - Teen camp is often described as the highlight of the summer! A coed camp for teens to get outside and make friends from nearby communities while enjoying many creative games and activities.

Leaders-In-Training (14-17)- This program is designed to teach leadership and teamwork skills to youth that will help them in life both at camp and in their home communities. See more information below.

Leaders In Training Program

The LIT Program is a unique program for youth ages 14-17.

This program is designed to teach about teamwork and confidence-building skills to prepare teens for their future, while also giving them a taste of staffing at camp and a chance to make lifelong friendships. This is a fun opportunity for teens whether they plan to work at camp or not, but teens who have completed this program are given priority for future hiring at Rough Acres! The LIT's spend their week enjoying normal camp activities while also bonding with the staff and learning about their own special style of leadership.
